Lee Saunders and Heffner shatters a new world record
Lee Saunders and Heffner Performance shatters a new world record. Documented at the 2008 Hot Rod Pump gas drags Lee drove his Viper on 93 octane pump gas to a 7.9? at 183 mph during an Exhibition run. Congrats to Lee and Jason!

Very nice! It is awesome to see some more records broken!
I am not trying to muck up this thread, but can someone fill me in on the "happenings" of last year?

Looks like Lee's turbos are in a different location now!! I believe the announcer said twin 91 mm turbos.

That is one bad looking bitch under the hood.
I would love to see what them 91mm's would do on race gas.

Good for Lee. He is an excellent driver and a gentleman that does not seem to get involved in the hoopla.
