ACR Questions -- Pictures inside

Hey All

Just picked up a 2000 ACR Black and Silver. I have a few questions that I have ask over at the Morg and have not received any answers.

1. Build Date is 12-1999 Any chance that this is one of the last forged car? Or is is with out doubt a cream-puff?

2. I know that the 1999s- and early 2000s ACR's had Koni Shocks and softer springs and that at some point in 2000 they upgraded to heavy springs. Is there any way to tell the springs apart?

3. I am looking to install driving lights into the car, any idea who has the best kit and harness?

4. Finally, I am looking to lower the car a little. How effective are the Koni's at lowering the car? Also what should I be looking for in a alignment after the car is lowered?

Oh ya, and for all you smart ass bastards, lick my salty balls

1) cream puff

4) Koni's are fine for lowering the car. I did it on my 2000 black with silver ACR and it worked great. After 3 month, I raised it back up from finding every freaking pebble in the road.

PS, please don't ask other men to lick your balls, not only is it the wrong forum.......it's the wrong site!!!

2. Look at the shocks and see if their koni's or Dynamic's. I think the switchover date is the spring-summer of 2000.

3. I put the stock ones on, everything is pre-wired, plug in and bolt in.

4. $350-$500 to adjust height and align, go to someone who knows viper's so you get the set up you want correctly, all track, street, both.

The car is still at my shop awaiting pick up, they called and it will be picked up Monday or Tuesday, the shocks are Koni's and Tim to answer your question the car is Cast Internals. The dates of the block switch were 6/99. For driving lights look at the avatar below yours on Joel's car this is the Autoform Daytona Competition Fascia and in my opinion of course think it is the best looking out there. Here is a picture on a White car I have in stock. Enjoy the car, and let me know when you receive it and hopefully it meets your expectations. Enjoy!

Bernie is a good guy, has helped many Viper owners and sold quality Vipers for several years. I'm sure you will be very happy with it. Hope you enjoy it and welcome to the black/silver club! Here is mine!
