I ordered "Dave' Big Brake Kit" for the GTS and it arrived 3 days later. I'm still waiting on the calipers and a couple of rotors but they should be here this week.
OK, the point.
I'm going to use my Gtec Pro and do about 6, 100-0 stops and measure the stopping distance. I'm then going to instal the whole kit (SRT front rotors and calipers all around) and try to repeat the same 6 tests from 100-0. I'll try to do it at the same location, same time between stops and same temp outside and so on. Any other ideas on how to keep it somewhat unbiased.
I would love to see the results. I just put a StopTech 4 wheel kit on and am now regretting that I didn’t buy a G-tech and do just what you are planning. All I know is there is a HUGE difference. Even as a novice Viper owner the power never made me nervous but the lack of brakes scared the shit out me.

I can't imagine it not transforming the car. The SRT brakes are simply amazing. I got to experience them around Putnam park. Did about 10-15 laps and they were as strong on the last lap as on the first. The only non-stock part on them was different pads, but that's like a 20 minute mod.

Are you going to use similar pad compounds? also, what do you currently have for rear calipers.
I have a G2x and have recorded some brake forces on the track with the OEM and Tom's 40mm rear calipers. shoot me an email when you get the data and let's compare.
+ Rep for this in advance, as I need more stopping pwoer too and the way I drive combined with the 10 LB Roe and crap, I need more (okay, I want more) brakes. I was going to do the 40 mm rear calipers, but I think I am beyond that right now.
