Exactly what does a stock resonator on a 97 GTS do? I have heard everywhere about cat deletes and adds but what are the pros/cons of leaving the resonator on if I switch to a side exhaust?

all a resonator really does is help cut drone out and some of the "nasty" tones (really high)

Know what a glasspack is? That's pretty much it. Alot of 4cyl's have them to help with the buzzy-ness.

resonators dont have a packing in them. Glasspacks do. its more recent that the imports got into them.
