I am thinking that the numbers might be similar to dynojet if you haven't done a fuel system, because my car went super lean right past 590 rw at about 5300 rpm on the stock fuel system. I then added a second in tank pump with stock injectors and it went over 616 rw at just over 5600 rpm with ngk 6's and -1 degree from stock timing. Right now I am in the process of some drop in injectors from deatschwerks.com that are almost double in size. I should be able to put all the timing back in safely and put 640 + rw down on pump gas. Those numbers are all sae corrected on a dynojet.....
jc-Whose heads and cam are you running? Got any pics of the pump install?

Holy shit! The Caps lock button must have gotten un-stuck

Awesome numbers from a N/A car, congrats!

Just curious, if you were running out of gas at the high end, could you install a Boost-a-Pump to compensate????

Thanks for the comments and don't think I didn't notice TWYD's lack of all caps wasn't immediately noticed when he posted

As for the boost-a-pump, that is what I am considering. What I need to find out is how far does that extend my fuel capacity before I am max'ing the stock fuel injectors. Not sure if the stock injectors can flow much more at WOT even with the boost-a-pump....will be investigating though.

Congrats on the build. You’ve got more power than I do!!!!

D@MN this tiny cam!

You know you can rip 10’s all day long right? Now get to the track, rip off a few good passes. If your still using the stock tires…good luck! The best I could muster with my old hockey pucks was an 11.6@127mph. I would spin in the 1st three gears.

Again...congrats!!!

Yes, a boost-a-pump is a potential I am considering, but not sure how much additional fuel it will provide as I believe the injectors are reaching their max flow as well at this level.

Thanks Tom. I noticed your G in the shop too! Is it going to be sporting a TT soon under the hood?

The car may be 10 second capable, but we will have to see if the driver is 10 second capable

I'll have to turn up the boost to touch your beast though

That will be a nice set-up. I had to get my wife out of there quick before she got any wise ideas of doing the same to her 6MT G35

I have a way for you to increase your stock injector flow. It's a trick I used to do all the time when I owned my tuning shop. The outlet screen on the injector tips can be machined off. I've probably done 25 sets of Subaru STI injectors for customers - did so many that I made a jig to do it in. Increased the flow from 55lb/hr to approx 75lb/hr.

As an experiment, I did the same thing to a Viper injector, and it works. I never flow tested it, but I'd expect a similar gain in flow. You have a VEC II, so you can retune it. I could probably did up a pic or two if your interested.

Best,
Dave.
