Need more than the washers and 1.3 inches to get it right. too bad the instructions/supplies don't say so.

Matt...punt the washers...go to the hardware store and get the 3/4" x 2 1/2 plumbing fittings, one for each side of the front of your seat...and longer bolts...

Trust me, I did the washer thing first too and it sucked...
