Questions about Turbocharging a 69 charger with a viper engine in it

Ok so my dad bought a 69 charger for me to restore. I stripped the car down, gutted it, ground off all the paint and prepped it for painting and all that good stuff. Now we found a shop locally that did total restorations but we thought we would only let them do the paint because we heard they did quality work.

Well long story short my dad ended up getting sold on letting that shop do the rest of the restoration, wich included putting an 02 viper engine in it. Now because they needed to to substantially engine bay and frame modifications to the car to make and fit, and it still didn't fit perfectly, there was about 8-10 inches in between the front of the engine and the radiator.

The shop wants to turbocharge the engine. This car (while we will still drive it) is going to be a big show car for a while and will go to some very high end car shows and possibly sema to promote the shop. So for them, a turbo kit makes the car look really nice and covers up the empty space, while they are telling my dad it will increase the hp. And my dad not knowing hardly anything about cars and has never driven a car with anywhere near that much power before thought "that would be awesome!!!" and thats about as far as his thinking got. I'm like whooaaaa hold on, don't turbos on viper's get them to like 750-1500 hp!?! That kind of power in a street car especially a classic is almost dangerous and unstreatable. Plus thats probably a lot of dough on top of what your spending! My questions are:

1) How much power will even the smaller turbos at super low boost increase the horsepower?

2) How much would a good quality shop charge to put a turbo kit on a normal viper?

Thanks for the help!!!!

Call Paolo, He has a front mount turbo system that would be perfect for you. The really cool thing about a turbo system it can be tuned any way you like it. from a very well mannered street tune to a full out race version. It all depends on what you want. Too much to try and explain in a single post so call him @ 630-878-3907. He will give you all the answers you are looking for.
