I'm not. But, then, I'm used to being patient.

I'm sure certain customers of certain tuners feel exactly the same...they'd need the patience of Job at times.

But rest assured...when it's time, my monster will re-emerge.

Won't you honey?

In my experience when we build a motor, "ANY MOTOR" weather its on fuel ref. the Dragster or for the street you :
HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY PARTS FOR THE BUILD TO BEGIN WITH.
EVERYTHING IS LAID OUT AND YOU HAVE A CHECK LIST.
EVERYTHING IS BALANCED AND BLUEPRINTED
EVERYTHING IS CHECKED AND RECHECKED
AND IT DOESE'NT LEAVE THE SHOP TILL ITS RIGHT...PERIOD.

Torque,

Thanks for posting the story. I can't see how Heffner is obligated to respond, especially since the written word can be used as any kind of evidence, but it would be nice to hear both sides.

Damn shitty situation though, especially after packing up and traversing so far for apparantly so little. I'm glad your life is back on track, and that you are doing well.

I will say that personally, even though I realize my opinion matters little to this entire situation (especially due to lack of experiance in both the field and with the individuals involved), but I do echo Clint's comments. I find it mind blowing that you could relocate both yourself AND your family all the way to the States with little more than some emails, a non binded contract/business plan and trust. Unfortunately that's not how the world works these days, no matter WHO you are dealing with...family, friends or strangers. It should....but it doesn't. It's sad that it appears you found out the hard way.

Again, that is how I interpret things, although I think a few others also did the same. All the better for a second side to the story.

Good luck with everything dude.

Wirelessly posted (LGE-VX8550/1.0 UP.Browser/6.2.3.2 (GUI) MMP/2.0)

Until proof is brought forth that people were scammed and/or have parts other than what they thought they did; this is nothing more than a personal story. I cant think of a single industry I have been involved with that doesnt have these same skeleton in the closet stories. It is really unfortunate, and Barry, if there are sides to be taken I am completely on your side of the fence from what I have heard so far, but I think everyone is ready for the real kibbles and bits that you hinted at.

I've got nipple clamps (don't ask) and a hand-winding camping generator. We can soak his feet in salsa and shock his nipples until we develop tennis elbow. Then we can send him the physiotherapy bills.
