How many miles out of Hoosier DR's?

Figure I'm going to probably get some Hoosier DR's, 335/35/17's. With some racing and normal town driving how many miles you think I'll get out of them? And do these feel pretty good at speeds over say 80mph? Or does it feel more like a slick would?

how do they work for driving around on the street?

It says DOT approved, but are "not intended for street use or on public roads"?

thoughts?

I've never liked the feel of drag radials on the street, makes rear ends feel squirrelly and nervous especially on the highway. Never used Hossier DR's though. I remember a friend and I on I-95 being caught in the rain on his Nittos, not fun, car was sliding around...we had to pull to the far right lane and drive way slower then everyone else.

I drove my viper to the Texas mile on my hoosier drag radials. About a two hour drive one way.. The car did alright. On my way home, caught some rain! I drop my speed to around 65 mph. And belive it or not. The car did okay. Trust me, I was a bit scared! lol!

i have 800 miles on mine and i have abused them the whole way i have smoked a stock clutch that had only 200 to 300 miles on it i honestly have a hard time spinning them to heat them up ( i have 600+rw) i still have stock half-shafts but hopefully not for long. and at speed they are 10 times better than the bfg drs but i think it helps that i have purners with skinnies up front and the car drives like a cadiallac at 150-160 i just cant stop or turn very good and in the rain they didnt seem as bad as the bfgs.

Well, I keep changing my mind. Now I'm thinking about the Kumho Ecsta V700's. But I can't seem to find any online stores that sell them. Anybody know of any?
