FINALLY!!!!!!! MY CAR IS FIXED! (I just may be a Gen I electrical Guru now)
Yesterday was a good day as I finally heard my car start once again since mid December. Turns out, it was the computer (PCM). Of course I had to be sure and follow through with some good ol' de-bugging before spending money on a computer so the pics below will show some of what I did.
First, I thought it was fuel pump related, so tore into the gas tank and started checking wires, ordered some parts, etc...
Then, I realized the problem was electrical and not my fuel pump. So the volt meter, test light and major wiring harness came out.
Finally, all the testing showed it had to be a bad PCM, so Chuck Tator sent me one and the car started. YAY!
I also found a potential water leak so fixed that and ran all of my wires form my shift light and VEC I, in a more professional manor, so I took care of a few things during this process. It took me so long to finish this, because I didn't really want to be out in the cold working on the car. Lately, the Texas weather has been nice so I REALLY got intimate with my car. As always, projects like this are a HUGE learning experience and I'm always glad I did the work myself. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND TIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next, I'll be fixing my tranny slave cylinder leak!!!

Kudos to you for digging that deep. Damn that had to be painful. Now to this cold you talk of in Texas. ARE YOU FUCKIN KIDDING ME. It was 26 for the high yesterday and I live in central Il. It should be in the 60's by now. Our high yesterday is probably only seen it Texas a few times a year. Great job on the car, I am sure there is nothing you won't be able to fix in the future.

It was in the 30's and 20's a few times this past winter. Too cold for me to be bustin knuckles in the garage, so I slacked till it warmed up. It's been in the low 70's since mid March I guess, so thats about when I got serious.
Seriously though... if any of you Gen I guys have questions, let me know...

That will be a sweet old ride. Looks like a fun project. Nothing is worth frost-bite though.
Damn Frog , I am glad you figured it out. Will you have her back together by next weekend for Ryan's Viper events? Call me if you need a hand during the week putting it back together , early retirement is starting to get boring....
remember this in 2003 ??
