Wirelessly posted (LGE-VX8550/1.0 UP.Browser/6.2.3.2 (GUI) MMP/2.0)

Assuming you ordered /recieved the correct part number, it fits. Maybe not as easily as a Johnson Farms in the old lady, but it will fit. When considering mass produced/molded poly, it is a given you will need to twist and tweak a bit.

It is not a molded poly product. It is carbon fiber and therefore, extremely stiff and brittle.

is it real carbonfiber? I had one and was able to get it to fit, but it was a bitch. I felt and weighed like plastic with a carbon fiber look.

Mine is a K&N in real carbon fiber and fits like a charm.. the fiters take a little bit of wrangling to get in/on right but no real problems. Post a pic.

Are you sure you got the one for the RT/10 and not the one for the GTS with the NACA duct? There may be two different part numbers? I may be wrong.
