Underground Racing Stock Viper Paxton Pkg Dyno # Is In!!!!!!!!

Well Kevin and the gang finally got my car done and the #'s are exactly what I was told that it would make. The car is a bone stock 98 gts with only 3000 miles and a mopar cat-back system. I went with there paxton package which consist of a paxton blower kit, aem & undergound racing fuel system. The car made 901.45 rwhp. I couldn't be any happier. I was told by Kevin that the car would make 900 rwhp when I dropped off the car to him but I honestly didn't think that it would do it and would have been very happy with the car making around the 800-850 mark but to my surprise the car made the #'s that they promised. Kevin also recommended me to dyno it when I get back home in the colder air to see how much more it picks up so I will be doing this as soon as I can get on a dyno in my area. I would like to send out a special Thanks to Kevin & K.C. of Underground Racing for delivering everything that was promised to me and then some. I plan on sending them another car in the near future. Thanks, Tony.

I've known about this car for a few weeks. This should put to rest the doubts that Kevin's package will make 900 rwhp on a stock car (well...it does have a catback).

Another beast built by UGR. Congrats and take it slow for a few weeks. The Snake has a way of biting you in the ass if you do not respect it.

That is amazing power out of a Paxton. Is this considered a "conservative" tune to beat up on the streets day in and day out or is this an "all out" tune to see what kind of numbers could be put down on the dyno? Also, is this kit running an air filter? If not, is it capable of having one without any further modification? This is way more power than what other tuners say their paxton install with their fuel system will run. With those numbers I would consider taking my car all the way to UGR.

It's probably without a filter, which has been the UGR-haters mantra in the past. I seriously doubt the setup that Paxton supplies with the kit will support the power that Kevin's kits are making.
A few years ago, I had a custom powerpipe made for one of my Mustangs. The guy who did it made a 4" inlet that required no cutting. If I drove my car daily, or in dirty, dusty environments, I'd be concerned. But for a weekend, sunny-weather car...I'm not so worried.

Thanks to all for the kind words. The car is set up to be daily driven. I wasn't interested in having an all out, strictly drag car. When I dropped it off I told Kevin to make sure that it is set up so that I can just jump in it and drive it anywhere without having to retune it because there is no way in hell that I was going to be able to even think about messing with the computer. Like I said before, I would have been honestly content with the car if it only made 800-850h.p. as long as I could just get in it and drive it anywhere without having to do nothing more then turn the key but he gave me what he told me and that is a 900rwhp turn key daily driver.

Congrats, and enjoy. The first set of tires are sure to disappear in a hurry. Hopefully the weather will change and you can actually get it out. Aren't you supposed to get snow today?

I was actually out in Charlotte, at UGR's shop when Tony's car was dyno'd.

This is the base $14,900 kit that UGR offers, installed and tuned and it made the 900 rwhp EXACTLY as advertised.

The 901 rwhp number was made on the very first pull on the dyno. KC is an absolute wizard when it comes to tuning with an AEM. That was a base map that he had compiled and it was perfect, right out of the box. I wanted to be there to witness this first hand because there was so much BS in the other thread about it not being possible. BLOWNGTS was not a fluke and this proves it.

$15,000 does, indeed, get you 900 rwhp on pump gas, as advertised.

Tony, time to get rid of the old ass, hard tires you have on there. You're going to kill yourself with them.
