Congrats, and enjoy. The first set of tires are sure to disappear in a hurry. Hopefully the weather will change and you can actually get it out. Aren't you supposed to get snow today?
SNOW, lol. Whats another 2" when we just got 8" last week. This Michigan weather really sucks.
thats gotta be pretty close to the edge, NO ? but damn nice numbers. enjoy it and be safe.
I don't profess to be a tuner, but I did learn a lot from KC about how to read AEM graphs while I was there watching. I know there was no knock at all on that tune, the air/fuel was a little fat and I don't believe there was a lot of timing in it. This was the "base" tune that they start with when they tune a Paxton, so it wasn't very aggressive. It just happened to be so dang close to perfect on the first pull, I don't think they did much more to it.
I watched them dyno my car, too. It was interesting seeing what they tweaked and where they tweaked it. Once they get the WOT maps dialed in, Kevin and KC take the car out for drivability tuning. Kevin drives and KC sits shotgun with the laptop and makes adjustments on the fly. When they got back they told me to take it out and make sure I liked how it drove and let them know if I thought there were any hiccups. The car drove just like stock until I started to put my foot in it.
That Paxton/fuel system/AEM deal they offer is a LOT of horsepower for the money.
I was there as well. My wife and I went down for the weekend and met Johnny Bravo and his better half. The very first dyno showed 901. I was shocked. I knew it would make the 900 whp but didn't think it would do it on the first pull. That was damn impressive.
After that we all went to Ruth's Chris for a good steak.
Hi guys, I just got in and have been trying to post the dyno sheet but Im having no luck. If anyone can help out Ill e-mail it to you. Thanks again to all for the kind words.
