You inject yourself in threads in many instances asking off-comment questions and when called out for such, you lob the implications of doing what you do so naturally in the opposite direction in an effort of giving yourself a sense of self worth, I suppose. I second that! I found out a couple weeks ago just how difficult it is to get one of these 1500 HP TT cars down the strip. I have owned dozens of what most normal humans would consider FAST cars for around the past 20 years. Yet I totally underestimated the step up from high 9 low 10 second cars - mainly automatics - to an 8 second 6 speed car with way more HP and way less traction! Let me tell you, its a HUGE step up! I was on the rev limiter all day when the tires would blow off the thing, at just about any speed and in any gear. Out of maybe ten runs I also missed 3rd once and 4th a few times (yes, fourth - it is indeed STRAIGHT back!) while most of my concentration was focused on hanging onto my nuts and keeping the car headed somewhat straight and off the walls. At the end of the day I basically ended up feeling like a retarded jackass that had never driven a "fast" car before since I couldn't get a single damn clean pass in with the boost at anything much above the base wastegates! These cars are definitely BEASTS!
That being said, I can't wait to hit the track again and give it another go!
Jim, you did a fine job for not ever driving the Viper before other than around Charlotte for a bit. That is about what I expected. I applaud for giving it at shot and having the balls not to give up. I expect that you will do a lot better next week. You did pop off a 9 sec ET on BFG Drag Radials on I think what was your second or third pass on base boost. There are a few people with a lot of practice that still have not accomplished that. I see low 9's or possibly an 8 on the next trip out there. See you Sunday!

I have a question for the masses here. It is not directed at anyone per say just a general question. I have always been able to walk with my head held high knowing that everything I have is mine, I earned it with my own 2 hands. I work hard for everything I have, though to some it may not be glamorous or flashy it is mine. I believe there is nothing I can't do if I really want it. That is what has gotten me where I am today.
My question is how does any self respecting man go through live getting everything he has by kissing ass, and following the popular crowd just to fit in? How do people not realize that the person who's ass they are kissing usually has no respect for them but they love the attention so much that they tolerate the ass kissing just to make themselves feel better? You can take away a mans belongings but not his pride. That is if he had any to start with.
