you know i have been tring since last summer i even had a deposit so i could get some of the first available but i doubt they will be making them soon if you check all of the mickey drs are out of stock forcing everyone to hoosiers and bfgs so i doubt they will make these before filling up the warehouse with 15" sizes that the could sell hundreds a day. but if you hear anything let me know.
I'm concerned how much taller these M/T's are, my car is lowered so.

Was about to buy a set of the nitto's for my factories. Are you happy with there performance? Always been a nitto fan have them on 3 of my cars currently.
I am VERY happy with the Nittos and I drive my car a lot and I drive it hard too. They hook a lot better than PS1's, but I wish they gripped a hair better. I will say my tires as on their second year now, so I know that is a factor. They will be replaced later this year. Gary
Im wondering how soft the sidewall is with these MT's. I know the BFG drags are awesome with traction but the soft sidewall can be dangerous around turns.
You will crash your high powered Viper and/or lose your life if you drive BFG in the rain or moisture. I have 18" Kumbos on mine, they are great! Infact I have them on all four tires, outstanding in the corners.
As soon as they release the MT 18 street drag radials I will be getting those, so I will be able to put more power down to the street.

The same can be said for just about any drag radial except for the Nittos.
I've gotten caught in the rain with Hoosier DR's (315's) when my Cobra was only making 630 rwhp...it was a bit hairy. I've had a few times in light rain or damp roads on my MT DR's, not pretty. The worst ride I ever had was in my turbo Buick on a set of ET Streets in a downpour. That car was all over the road, and I was shocked I got to my buddy's shop to put the H&R bar in it.

I'm sure M/T wanted to be better than BFG's, and that's why they came up with a taller/softer sidewall.
If you're concern about sidewall flex, your options for stickier tires are road racing or autocross tires. Any "drag" tires will be dangerous on turns.
