Atco track rental sign-up thread ***updated***

I can't edit the original post, so this is an update...
I will be posting that there are open slots on a few other boards, and asking a few local friends. However, we'll still have a few alternate slots likely available.

This is the track rental sign-up thread. Only sign up if you are coming to race, there is no charge for spectators. Children under 17 are charged at $10 each (not sure why, but this is on Atco's Track Rental Agreement). The date is Thursday April 17, 2008.

We will use this list to collect the fee ($200 +$10 barbeque donation if desired) for the rental from racers. As of right now, we have to figure out how we'll handle the barbeque, but I'm sure we can put something together. I have in the past, and V10 lives close to the track and I'm sure we can use one of our trucks to bring barbeque stuff.

A few more details...
If you do not pay, you do not race. Simple.
If you buy a spot and break on the day of the rental, you can discuss allowing somebody to run in your spot with the track's approval. We can't have racers sharing a spot according to Atco.
Once you buy your spot, it is your spot. If you can't make the rental, it is your responsibility to find somebody to fill your spot. Either work out the swap with them, or, when they pay, we'll refund your fee.
I need the following info to reserve your spot: Screen name, full name, email address, year/make/model of car racing.
Slots are booked on a first come, first served basis.
We'll book 15-slots and 5-alternates. We won't begin filling alternate slots until all regular slots are filled.
We'll begin collecting money in mid-March, and I would like to have all payments for slots by the first week of April. I can take Paypal, or send me a check.

Sean, just to clarify, you mentioned spectators are free but it looks like only if they are over 17??? Is that correct? I have a call into Kevin Sway to ask him about the kids/pits thing. I was thinking of bringing my son and I know Kevin was too. Will update the thread with what I hear back when I get the return call.

They will prep whatever we'd like. The decision can be made the day of the rental based on track condition.

Okay, I am ready for payment and will probably bring my girlfriend. I know we will both eat the BBW stuff. Can we bring a few people to watch the Vipers too, and if so do they pay at the gate or do we need to prepay for anyine else? I just know for sure that both me and my GF are going with BBQ so need to know total payment to send. Getting my car ready as my trans is back in the shop now so trying to hurry it up-ha. TY Gary
