It's technically in Greensboro, NC. The easiest way for you to get to the track is via 40/85. Take exit 141, go left for 7 miles on huffmin mill road. Take a left at dead end, take your first right and the track is 1.5 miles down.
That is going to be nice when you have it made into a full 1/4. We used to go there in the mustang days and that place was one of the best hooking tracks ever. We won a few mustang 5.0 shootouts there.
My track is always available for free. You'd just have to put it off till Mid June, that's when the 1/4 mile will be finished. If my car is done by then, I'll be happy to drive it.

Seems weird that for months when Chads car was all dominating the cry was he had nobody to play with. While he was running 8's the rest of the field were coming to grips with peeling off consistent 9's.
But then UGR got the chance to build something to meet the challenge, then backed it up long enough to prove it was not a fluke (by taking away all the records).
Now it seems UGR is the only tuner that genuinely back themselves against real competition? surely someone will step up and play with them?

Im glad you mentioned this as I have thought about it before also. It seems as though the tuners who once ruled the unlimited viper class have gave up on trying to take some of these records back. They are now content with running 9 and 10 sec 1/4 mile times in AUDI gallardo's

Torque, originally I hoped someone from the Heffner camp would step forward and accept the challenge. Unfortunately, after a close inspection of Mr. HollyWood's fire hazard post, I came to the conclusion it would be in the best interest and safety for everyone to hold off from racing any of Heffner's cars.

Have you installed that Paxton on your GTS yet? Or are you hoping that by it being in the same garage as your Viper, your car will get faster by osmosis?
