This is the track rental sign-up thread. Only sign up if you are coming to race, there is no charge for spectators. Children under 17 are charged at $10 each (not sure why, but this is on Atco's Track Rental Agreement). The date is Thursday April 17, 2008.
We will use this list to collect the fee ($200 +$10 barbeque donation if desired) for the rental from racers. As of right now, we have to figure out how we'll handle the barbeque, but I'm sure we can put something together. I have in the past, and V10 lives close to the track and I'm sure we can use one of our trucks to bring barbeque stuff.
A few more details...
If you do not pay, you do not race. Simple.
If you buy a spot and break on the day of the rental, you can discuss allowing somebody to run in your spot with the track's approval. We can't have racers sharing a spot according to Atco.
Once you buy your spot, it is your spot. If you can't make the rental, it is your responsibility to find somebody to fill your spot. Either work out the swap with them, or, when they pay, we'll refund your fee.
I need the following info to reserve your spot: Screen name, full name, email address, year/make/model of car racing.
Slots are booked on a first come, first served basis.
We'll book 15-slots and 5-alternates. We won't begin filling alternate slots until all regular slots are filled.
We'll begin collecting money in mid-March, and I would like to have all payments for slots by the first week of April. I can take Paypal, or send me a check.

I was just about to say "IN" but I see you already got that. I think EDELECTRA was a go too?
Also worth noting. Not sure about Atco's policy regarding Kids at a rental but I know on street night events children are NOT permitted in the pit area. Just wanted people to know in advance that if they brought a child with them, it is possible that the child will be allowed nowhere near the actual pit area.

Unlikely a nine coming from my ride in all honesty. I will be running my 20" iforged street tire setup as that is what this car was built to run on. I would be pleased seeing the car go deep into the 10's to be honest with you. Perhaps if I want to see just how off I am as a driver I may allow Kevin to take my car down the 1320 as a comparison to where I need to be. He has an great talent in making these cars perform well. Hence, his sig. If I remember Sean correctly, he has already purchased some BFG DR's for the event and should be the more likely of us to see that 9 second pass.
One thing is for certain and that is if the prep is done well, you will see some very respectable times as well as perhaps some viper records fall to the hands of Kevins TT showing up Also looking forward to EDs JBE monster to laying some rubber to the track. Should be a blast.
We are in!! Not sure how many we are bringing at this point. We are bringing a Viper for sure and probably a TT Lambo and TT GT if the owners still want to being them.

Josh, I respect you for your honesty, I really do. However, there's no way I'm going to sit on the sidelines and watch you put the "screws" to me. So I've devised a plan that I'm comfortable will fuck you over.
I'm going have a Atco set-up a VIP section (courtesy of Krazy) which will allow NoMan to fly Krazy and Kevin into the park with the Augusta before you arrive. Once arrived, I'm going to grease all the guys working the gate with a stack of dead presidents, and instruct them to turn away anyone who shows up with a ghey red wheel attached to their steering column.
