Originally Snor told me it was to be a Viper event with so exception to his buddies he mentioned on the list above. You need to pm him to see if he minds. I do not as long as Vipers are not tured away for Non-Viper participants.
If we get his engine done in time, he would be happy to even be on the alt. list.
Right now the engine is still being assembled, and after that comes tuning, etc.
He was just curious as he would need track time anyway, and would be happy to pay for it with this event.
Like I said, all depends on us finishing his engine.
[quote=UnderGroundRacing.com;981572]We are in!! Not sure how many we are bringing at this point. We are bringing a Viper for sure and probably a TT Lambo and TT GT if the owners still want to bring them.QUOTE]
I will arrange that, but you're going to be sharing seat time with me!!

This is the track rental sign-up thread. Only sign up if you are coming to race, there is no charge for spectators. Children under 17 are charged at $10 each (not sure why, but this is on Atco's Track Rental Agreement). The date is Thursday April 17, 2008.
We will use this list to collect the fee ($200 +$10 barbeque donation if desired) for the rental from racers. As of right now, we have to figure out how we'll handle the barbeque, but I'm sure we can put something together. I have in the past, and V10 lives close to the track and I'm sure we can use one of our trucks to bring barbeque stuff.
A few more details...
If you do not pay, you do not race. Simple.
If you buy a spot and break on the day of the rental, you can discuss allowing somebody to run in your spot with the track's approval. We can't have racers sharing a spot according to Atco.
Once you buy your spot, it is your spot. If you can't make the rental, it is your responsibility to find somebody to fill your spot. Either work out the swap with them, or, when they pay, we'll refund your fee.
I need the following info to reserve your spot: Screen name, full name, email address, year/make/model of car racing.
Slots are booked on a first come, first served basis.
We'll book 15-slots and 5-alternates. We won't begin filling alternate slots until all regular slots are filled.
We'll begin collecting money in mid-March, and I would like to have all payments for slots by the first week of April. I can take Paypal, or send me a check.
That's it!
Sign up by posting the above requested info in this thread and we'll keep the list updated regularly! Once we begin collecting money, I'll update the list to reflect those who paid.
Thanks to everybody who participates...it should be a great time!
If anybody racing has questions regarding the rental, feel free to ask and I should have have an answer for you.
Are there any track rules in effect??.. helmets, hardtop etc?..or is it simply "run what you brung"?
You def need to wear a helmet. If it is a vert you will be asked to keep the roof up. I also believe they will make you have pants on/no shorts etc. Other then that the tech should be non-existent. This is a private rental, not a public venue so they do allow some leniency.
I was thinking...if you guys want to run against a bike for comparison/shits and giggles, I could sign up to run the ZX10. Would probably need someone to trailer it from central NJ as I'm bringing the RT.
Norm..your thoughts?.
