I know they will with a really mild street port, but I can't attest for their stock breathing imposed redline. I know the later ones will happily spin 10k. My team almost bought a raceported NA one that apparently ran to like 14k. Those little weedwacker engines are nuts.

Did anyone catch his name. I am wanting to hire a real edumacated hoodlum to help work some cars. Him sound like him is real knowledgable bout them thar carz. Good mechanics are hard to find.
