Well I finally got the "special" center cap tool from the dodge dealership to remove my center caps ($78) so I can get to my battery and I am going to jack the car up tomorrow. So another stupid question, is there a such thing as a "bad" spot to try to jack the car up at?

Also, I ordered new fog lamp covers and they have been, to put it mildly, very difficult to get in and I'm afraid I'm going to scratch the paint. I can get two of the tabs in but never can't quite get the third so I was thinking of cutting it off. Good or bad idea?

Thanks for all the help!!

It's pretty obvious where some good locations are to jack up your car if you kinda crawl under there, in my opinion. I have jacked up many of cars, so maybe thats why... BUT, don't place the jack in a position that has plastic on it, obviously not right.... The frame rails stand out pretty well so that would be the best place. Don't forget to put a chalk block under the front tire to keep the car from rolling. If you are unsure, jack it up just a few inches and stick your head under the rear (safely) to get a better look. My car site so frigging low, I have to jack up a few centimeters on a control arm, then turn the wheel, while inserting a wooden block, then place another jack under the side of the frame in the front, then remove other jack, placing it under the center front frame area, etc... It's a puzzle on lowered cars sometimes...

Not sure about the fog light covers.... I wouldn't recommend cutting the tab, but I have never had to mess with mine.

Jacked it up on the crossrail underneath the trunk area. Got a battery charger on it right now....surprised to find out it wasn't the original battery but rather a Die Hard gold. Charger says it should take around 4 hours.

Found a good solution to installing the fog light covers. What you do is get a soft shop towel and a flathead screwdriver. Pop the two side tabs in and then place the cloth underneath, right beside the third tab and while pulling down on the bumper with the screwdriver, lift up the lamp cover. Popped right in and you don't have to worry about messing up the paint.

Thanks for all the help guys, hope this was a somewhat useful post.
