Post a video of your upgraded ones. I am interested to hear the difference. I didnt know you upgrade them.
Do they sound a lot better? More like a turbo?

A larger, upgraded BOV will make more noise than the standard BOV. A Paxton, or any other centrifugal supercharger is very much like a turbo, except it is belt driven, so the BOV works a lot like a turbo's BOV. The Tial BOV is very loud. I have it on my Procharged Z06, and it was crazy loud. I would scare people when driving next to them. It was funnier than shit.
Yeah, but I think you have to weld the aftermarket ones on.
If you doing a tial then yes, if you just want the increased sound you can use a larger bypass valve which should bolt in place. Call UGR or Paxton tech line and ask them. Paxton.Vortech make higher boost bypass valves which I believe bolt right in place. However if you want to hear and see the BOV (Tial) you would I believe block off the hole on the cooler from the stock removal of the factory valve and need to have the flange from the tial placed someplace seen when you pop the hood.
Uummmm huh. I was thinking I had seen a SC setup with a bov on top. That explains it. I wonder if I would be happy with the Upgraded bolt on unit. Anybody have a video of an upgraded Paxton?

Hey PLUM is yours bolt on?
Chris, just fyi. I dont think plum was running the same chiller as us so I dont know where his would have been mounted to. To find the answer to that, assuming Phil is unsure, is to ask JID. I believe he is the one Plum bought this kit off of.
Another thing to note is the design of our system. You could place a tial AFTER the cooler in the intake pipe just before it splits into a Y to feed the throttle bodies but you should avoid doing that whenever possible. The only benefit it has is for the LOOKS. Otherwise the optimum place to have it is where the Paxton guys originally had it. On your chiller. The reason why is simple. The bypass valve/BOV is exactly the same thing. They bleed off the boost created by the blower/turbo when the throttle is closed. If you are placing the Tial/bypass valves AFTER the chiller then you are allowing that added burst of hot air to travel through the chiller for no reason aiding in its heatsoak. If you can bleed it off BEFORE it goes through the chiller then you are helping things some. In terms of a drag car only bleeding it's boost a few times during a run it will never really matter much but in a street car or a road raced vehicle which is subjected to many full on and full off runs through the gears the performance could be c
