RULES:
-Car Must be CLEAN (No Dirt, Mud, Etc) to park in general area!
-No daily's,beaters,A2B cars in general parking area!
-Respect all other car enthusiasts & owners rides!
-Ricers, High-schoolers, Immature Enthusiasts highly discouraged!
This meet was created to cater to the MATURE car enthusiast. The hope is that by having the car meet in a nice part of town, at such an uncommon part of the day, that kids, ricers, and spectators will be kept at a minimum. The odds of such people attending a meet increase as a day go's on, so with that in mind this GTG will be from 2pm to 6pm, right in the middle of the day until sunset.
This meet will be located at the FILLING STATION which has recently relocated here in October of 2007 from their famous Greenville location in Dallas. The location is very nice and sports all automotive related decor and menu items. Its a perfect match!
We have tested the burgers and they are out of this WORLD! They have a full bar, and several large plasma screens.
We want to keep this meet QUALITY so for the first time we will ask that you assist us in this new concept. If you are a disruption in any way you will be asked to leave, once nicely and the 2nd time by the owner.
Last week was amazing! The turnout was unprecedented and a great time was had by all! High quality organizations like corvette forums, 6speedonline, ferrari chat and viper alley are all actively participating in this event now, along with local sites like dfwstangs, ls2.com, vwaddiction and others.
This weeks meet will be from 12pm-4pm to make sure you don't miss the SUPER BOWL.

What explanation are you looking for? We dont want any kiddies here to take pics for their myspace with "the lambo" or cars that are beat up sputtering in leaking oil on the vipers. We dont need any problems, so I make sure there is not any.
The result is a top grade car meet with badass cars, mature enthusiasts, and no hassle from cops what soever.

Sounds like fun....I may need to make it down there some time....only 4 hrs away.
Oh yeah, and the Number 1 reason for you to NOT attend this meet is that K***y will hand your ass to you in a race in front of G_d and everybody.
It will be much safer if you stay in your element, which is you and NohorsepowerMan behind your respective computers posting photoshops of, and silly commentary on, K***y.

Joe, out of everyone in this thread YOU have the least worth talking about. What's the difference between Joe Dells car and an oversized paper weight?
Nothing

So if I would to roll in with a friend in a mustang v6 who is just as much as a car enthusiast as the next guy but cant afford some of these cars...
- Hes not allowed to be in the "in" group?
Just curious as to what the person setting this show up drives that he can be so basis on who can and cannot contribute?
He's just trying to keep out punk kids that don't respect other peoples property.Case in point some 16 YR old kid with a chain wallet sat on my car to take a PIC and acted like a dick when i said something to him.

I think without you being there, you cant understand what I mean.
I have been doing large scale car meets for years. I have ran the largest car meets in the southern US. 700+ cars ever week... yep, done that.
I know what makes a meet tick, what makes it work or fail. And I know what environment beings out certain owners. Older, more mature car owners love to be with people like them, with cars comparable to theirs as well. It makes for better conversation and environment. My rules are simple.
If your friend came with you in a V6 mustang (I am assuming if he is bringing this to the meet, then its his daily car) then he would be asked to park it with the other dailys, beaters, etc. This is because the main area, as you can see from the pics, is for cars there to be shown off, displayed, etc.
My basis of who can park where is not based around my car at all. The basis here is around what works, and what does not. I have done "come one, come all" meets in the past, they get out of control. Believe me. There are to many ricers in this world to have a meet that has no restrictions!
And even though it does not matter, here are my rides. The vette is for fun (company car) but I bring it out on occasion for fun.
