Congrats Lyle, you will love the build. My GTS should arrive at UGR next week. All I'm going to say is that my build will be something they have never done before.
I just hope Kevin gets mine done before he starts yours then...........
That is actually the only part of the build that I havent decided on yet. But I have about a month to make my decision. I will tell you that what Kevin will hook me up with them for, Im pretty sure it will happen as well. Dont want a 510 breathing through stockers, right? Just seems to add up pretty quickly........
Lyle, I hear you man but I think you know you have only one logical choice. No sense building that kind of monter and forcing it to huff through a coffee straw. Best of luck on the whole deal.
I was just kidding anyway. Maybe Ill have to fly out when my build is getting close, and sneak a peek at yours while Im there.
That won't work either. This picture was taken at UGR last week. The parts rack in the red square actually conceals an opening to a secret room where my build will take place. I'm not trying to be a dick but there are reasons the build has to remain confidential. It's one of those "if I told you I'd have to kill you deals." I'm going to tell K***y however because I was going to kill him anyway.

No, no air filters. Every well built bottom end needs some roughage if it is to run with regularity. Air filters are for sissy boys and SAE engineers with pocket protectors. No car condoms for No Man.
Jim, I see the brain transplant was a failure. Oh, well, so long as the family does not mind all the scar tissue.

I thought that was where Kevin keeps the air filters.
Air filters are for home a/c units. Or UGR trashcans.
Josh, you are delusional. Your engine advice is a disaster, your smack is a bum steer, and like the Energizer Bunny, you just keep on.
Let me tell you how things are going to unfold with your car. The piston rings and cylinder walls will prematurely wear from driving on the road without an air filter, and it will start consuming oil. A Viper engine is large, and it will burn a significant amount of oil without it sticking out like a sore thumb in the exhaust color (that is to say that an untrained eye such as yours won't spot it).
You will likely go too long without checking the oil level because you don't have an oil leak and therefore no reason to constantly check it. You'll be on a road trip and all of a sudden you're going to hear a rod knock. You're going to get out and check the oil and guess what? It's going to be low. So, tell me how eager the engine builder will be to warranty an engine that was run out of oil? Not very.
In short, you will be fucked, and I just hope that someone will be there to snap a pic of the stunned look on your face.

How long before the yellow G-TT is finished? A few good friends of mine are looking forward to having their G-rides modified with the TT option.
