The other pathetic thing is that there are more entries in the SCCA WC support races than there are in the premier race at the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Chuck, my cousin races the sister Lexus #60 car. They were 3 rd in the race until almost the end and then they came in 6 th. My cousin name is Mark Patterson, last year he was voted rookie of the year last year. I was very excited for him because he has not been racing that long and on top of that he is older than many of the racers that he competes with. He was the driver that finished the race and no he was NOT the one that drove thru the infield and caused the damage to the front end.
LEXUS wins for the 3RD year in a row and makes HISTORY. The 1st engine manufacturer to win the Daytona 24 Hour overall victory 3 years running. Next year it will be 4 in a row. Where is the overpriced POS Mercedes? MIA. Glad I have an overpriced status symbol Merc for my daily driver! NOT!!!
BTW, MAZDA, another Japanese manufacturer, won the GT Class and beat that other overpriced, German manufactured, poor performing Porsche.

Whats more amazing to me than the Lexus win is the win by the "Speedsource" team driving the rotary powered RX-8* That car not only beat the onslaught of Porsche 911's, but beat the competition by a crushing 6 LAP lead !!!! It's no wonder rotary motors are banned from so many form's of motor racing... (i promise you racing politics will kick again and make some sort of "rule" to make it impossible for the mazda to do that again for next years racing )
I just want to see the Vipers back in any league, stomping the fuck out of everyone again.
