did all b&w gts come with fog light covers?
i've been shopping around for a 2nd viper gts and i've noticed that some of them are missing the clear fog lamp covers on the fascia.

I know the later years they were completely dropped by dodge, but I wasnt sure if it was an option or something for the blue & whites since I've been seeing alot of them missing these clear covers.

did all 96-97 blue & white models gts models come with them?

i'm just afraid that this might indicate a front end repair or something. so just want to make sure i'm not being overly paranoid.

If it helps, mine has them...and I or the original owner did not have them installed aftermarket. So at the very least its a factory option, if not standard on all B/W's...

Yes, all of them should have that foglight cover. The one pictured looks like an aftermarket front bumper. Maybe it was in a front end collision.

Wow, learning the lense covers were only standard on B/W's make me love my car .0001 times better!! I KNEW it was worth the extra $$$$

I would have answered all Vipers came with light covers untill 1999. after 99 they were deleted from all models. (HAD THAT BEEN THE QUESTION)

thanks for the replies.

I just needed to make sure.

it's no big deal to me if I have them or not, but I figured it was an easy clue that might indicate any previous paint or front end work on cars that didnt have them.

It doesn't indicate anything by not having them. Many remove them to clean the inner side of the lens and the light itself. Some leave it off, and some break the tabs on the lens from prying them out incorrectly.
