Finally got the car in good hands! I had to drive to Lakeland Florida for a stunt comp called Stuntwars so I left a few bikes behind and brought the viper with me. This was the 5th time I've made the trip but it felt much longer than the rest. Only traveling with my wife I did most of the driving
Have to thank Anthony- Keprght for loaning me his half shaft after I broke my unitrax due to bad wheel hop. Even though he made me do all the work myself
Everything was going fine until a trailer tire blew up in Arizona, ended up taking the rim off and limping it down the freeway till I found a Wal Mart. Lost a couple hours and got back on the road. Then I noticed my trailer hitch wobbling around quite a bit while I was looking thru my rear facing camera. Found a nice place called Total Auto Pros in Phoenix that installed a new hitch on my truck, 3 hours later I was back on the road.
Next problem, truck threw a code late at night just getting into New Mexico. Had to pull over and plug in the programmer to reset the check engine light. Back on the road and the truck starts doing this every hour, it starts becoming much more frequent, like every 5 min!! I was in the middle of no where 1am with no city in site so I just kept pulling over and reseting the code till I made it to Las Cruces. Spent the night and took the truck to the dealer in the morning. 4 hours later they replaced the fuel filter and I was back on the road.
Made it to Florida with no problems after that. It was awesome having the viper at the event, everyone loved it. After the event I drove a hour down the road to Sarasota and made the drop off. Not sure what I'm going to do with the car as far as the motor goes. 1st thing we need to get it running right, but most likely I'll have it built up a bit since the motor is 12 years old and more power is always fun. The trip took me 4 days! I left California at 7pm on Monday the 7th and arrived in Tampa Thursday at 11pm! I have done this drive in 49 hours straight. After leaving Heffners I drove straight to Hefners, the mansion!! Had to drop off my wife for a casting call for future playmates, got to be the 1st to one make that trip If she makes it they pay $25k, if she doesn't I'm gonna have to find another way to pay for the engine build

I was at Jasons the next day to pick up my car & dam I was shocked to see 8 Gallardo's. You don't see that many at a Lambo dealer. Probably make for a great ad on the Lambo site. We have every color available with or without TT's.
Paolo's truck did the same damn thing as your's when he was coming back from Donovan's. He'd have to pull over like every 15 minutes. It was also a fuel filter.
