Contact D C Performance in CA and get their McLeod developed twin Meba set-up (comes with flywheel) I've tried most of the others except the big $'s Carbob Carbon Tilton...(SWEET!) but, for all the others I've bought (and failed) I could of bought a Carbon Carbon! The others just don't hold up to drag starts (not under my foot anyway!) and I'm smoking the clutch the rest of the 1/4 with street legal tires, at about 700bhp.
The Mcleod Street twin will do fine, as it's under rated at 1200/1200. If you upgrade to the ceramic, it's rated even higher according to Mcleod.
Both options are well under $3k..and not a bitch to drive on the street like the Tilton is.

You need to feel the tilton clutch now...it feels ten times better !!

There is a huge difference between the Tilton Heavyweight and Tilton Lightweight, and almost as big a difference bewteen the Carbon and Metallic Tiltons.
Either type of Heavyweight Tilton is easily streetable, though a Carbon will run circles around its metallic counterpart in the performance and smoothness areas. However, the lightweights can become a gigantic pain in the ass.
Unless you're planning on going above 1000 HP, my $350 wonder will be fine. $1700-$5000 for a clutch is insane. You would even be better off getting a $600 Spec 3+ clutch which would hold that kind of power easily.
