Just because my previous question went unanswered, I figured I would ask it again. We all know from my other thread(s) that Kevin and UGR have said what they warranty for it's customers running paxtons and TT'd with no filters so what is your policy for customers running a CPE build (other than the piping). If we are comparing one tuner to another one may wonder where they stand with you if they run into an "oops". Also P, could you clarify for everyone how much the owner was charged for your travel fees? I remember you telling me on the phone a WHILE back that your travel expenses, airfare, and time away from work (your other job) all need to be taking care of on top of the basic installation price. So again, in this builds case, what did that amount to?
Josh, since no OEM's produce a car that omits the air filter, I do not feel comfortable running without an air filter.
I have designed my TT systems to make the power with the air filters on and have gone the extra mile to put them in front of the radiator to draw cool air outside the engine compartment.
With my TT system, Jody Gleason has already driven his car almost 5K miles.
He does not have to worry about if there is salt on the road or if there is some road construction.
I provide a lifetime warranty all the turbo and intercooler piping.
The Turbonetics turbos included in the kit come with the best warranty in the industry.
I do not ask my customers to run without air filters so I do not need to waranty if microscopic dirt particles get in and degrade the engine over time.
The transportation costs will be whatever people pay someone like Gary Almond to transport the car just like what you paid to get your car transported there and back.
Most of the guys doing the DIY systems on the stock forged motors are not having an engine built by me.
Customers buy the kit and install it.
I warranty all the piping and provide the brand of turbos(Turbonetics) with the best warranty in the industry.
Customers put in a base AEM tune I send them and have it tuned by the tuner of their choice at their local dyno.
What is the angle on your warranty question?

Come on guys! Let's not clutter up this thread with a bunch of nutswinging and give kudo's where it's due. And anytime a tuned Viper breaks 1300 RWHP kudo's are due.....running a $9.9K turbo kit or not* Great work raising the bar guys!
Your right, Sorry guys.
Great numbers and i can't wait for mine in about 2 weeks.
So what your saying is if you changed your pulley beacuse you GOT BEAT BY A TT VIPER and blew your motor, UGR is paying for your car to get shipped, fixed and sent back at no cost to you, THEY FUCKING ROCK!!
Of course you'll blow your motor if you push it to the limit.I know my car will and can make over 800-900 HP with the stock motor but till the heads and caps get done, I'll run around 750-800. Just to be safe. The owner does have a say so.
Who said anything about changing a pully? My car is making 915 corrected the way it sits everyday of the week. The pully is fine. UGR already stated where their warranty stood I was simply asking where CPE's was. BTW, I thought CPE cars were putting down 900 without the heads yet you expect to need them to reliably run to that level. Care to explain?

915 Uh, But i thought it was over 900 with STOCK HEADS. SO what your saying is you got your heads built and all you got was 15 Hp gain.WOW.
I know my car will make over 900 with stock heads but I'm no dummy. My car has less than 7,000 miles and strong and I want to keep it strong. We all know what FI does to motors. You know that.
I think even if you did do your caps you still couldn't break 1100 with a paxton.
Hey Josh, Lets not Hijack this thread, I'll still buy you a beer someday in person.IT'S ALL GOOD!

You're still talking? Someone who spent the same if not LESS than you did for your meth injected (a la ricer band-aid) S/C'ed package and made MORE HP than you on STRAIGHT PUMP gas with the ability and versatility of just turning up the boost knob on the fly with ur basic 110oct cam II and making over 1200RWHP! I would just stop while I was "behind" if I were you and stop posting in an obvious effort to downplay CPE's HUGE achievements...we're all glad you're happy with ur blower kit from UGR. But getting this TT kit INSTALLED and TUNED for ~14.9K over a blower kit from ANYONE is a NO-BRAINER for anyone now that the 'potential' of this system has been proven*

How much you willing to wager on the build costs for each car? Otherwise go back to dangling from the taint of Paolo.
So this car made 950 rwhp (I'm assuming uncorrected) on pump gas. Was that with water/meth?
Also, the creampuff CPE car made 897 rwhp, but from the threads I read, I assumed that was on race gas. I assumed that because, quite frankly, a set of graphs in the mid-700's were posted that clearly were referenced to being on "93 pump with water/meth". Alternative's car made 909 rwhp on 100 octane "pump gas". Although I'd guess a well setup meth injection system would have made similar numbers.
So what are these cars making on pump gas with water/meth and stock or aftermarket/ported heads?

We've already established that the costs for the build on this car would approach $30k with an AEM. And even more when you consider it has a built bottom end.

I've done it for half of that WITH a bunch of extras.
