Did I miss a steal?

A friend who knew I was looking to upgrade turned me on to this 99 for sale.

NOT at all where I was watching so I missed it. Based on the limited info, In your opinion did I miss a steal? Post #3 is a partial parts list, Post #15 are pics. Am I beating myself up for no reason?

I have only been watching here for a Viper at my price and had nothing to say of importance so I don't have enough posts to place a link, here are the basics:

$38k w/ 14k mi.
Carbon fiber heat extractor hood
Carbon fiber wheel wells
Front diffuser & wing
complete interior is carbon fiber (dash, consol, door skins, shift knob, etc.)
Custom sound system w/Kicker sub & backlit amp mount with leather & stainless surround
Chrome CCW's
Chrome calipers
Chrome rotor hats
Chrome valve covers
Chrome Viper Power intake
Billet shor-throw shifter
performance coil-overs on all 4 corners
jet-hot coated headers
3" exhaust
forged stroker motor w/hot cams
All black ext & interior except the carbon fiber

Now that I look back over it, without the link, there is not enough info to get any Idea of the car. I'll just go back to just watching the for sale section.

That is pretty much where I'm at, but not for the reason you mean, for missing what might have been a deal on that car.

That car was a butt-ugly car with a lot of FAKE carbon fiber on it.

I have first hand knowledge of the Viper, he had over a $100,000 in mods and YES you missed out on a KILLER deal.

This would be a picture from 2003 before he add wing and fascia and hood ... it was loaded with carbon fiber look alike (good quality). He even had it(CF) on wheel wells. A little too much carbon fiber look alike for my taste, but a VERY strong running Viper and very clean.

Crap, not what I wanted to hear but I suspected as much. It really does not matter as I was not quick enough ..... but I really was not expecting one to come up for sale there so I was not watching that site. Pays to surf around I guess.
