As for your buddy Josh, he is like a bad case of herpes gone bad. He just keeps coming back. Why is that too? Maybe you can shed some light for all of us.

I honestly expected more from all parties involved in this.

Doesn't anyone have any fucking sense to just drop the fucking thing and move on? Really??

He said this about me, I said this about him, he started this, he called me this first, so and so told me that he has this on his car, I told so and so I could do this........ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??!!

The most sensible post in this entire clusterfuck came from Norm, and I still can't understand a damn thing he ever posts.

I'm 37 years old and I have realized that I am now way too old for the internet.

Honestly, to shut you up, I'd be happy to. Except that the pistons, rods, and motor are all at the new engine shop. As for your definition of 'frosted', i'm not sure that i'll be able to accommodate. Visually the pistons look fine. On the other hand, if I take the opt ring of the #2 cyl and put it next to the 2nd ring, you'd see that the top ring has lost a little of its rigidity.

Such an easy solution to this problem is me showing you pics of pistons that I really would go down to the garage right this second to take the pics. But I just can't b/c they aren't here!

How about this? I'll just stop posting anything negative or even underhanded stuff and you can do the same. And then we can grab a beer in [enter undisclosed # of] months and laugh about it at a later time.

That way we can all STFU and go on with our lives.

What do you say???

oooohhh.... that's right! Kevin probably has pics since he was at the engine shop inventorying the engines that were potential competition. Maybe he'll post the pics instead and this can be done with!

Dude - who knows who your gossiping with - but you clearly have way too much free time on your hands. It doesn't have solid lifter setup in it...i've seen it personally....STFU you look retarded...

Enjoy riding around in your filterless ride.

Funny - you'll find out what what a set of rings costs soon enough...smart thinking!

Let's be clear on JID's pistons. From what I know, those are the same pistons he had in his blower car, the same ones that he detonated on learning to tune, the same pistons on the car when the oil pump failed, and the same pistons (after a recoat) that made 1600 RWHP. These things have been through hell and back.

Actually, I said I was done with dogfights with you and Josh. That means I won't be responding to your continued goatings. Even AFTER Josh and I put this to bed you still try to goat... Have fun with the *crickets*!

PFR is spot on, though. Those pistons have been through a lot!

On a more important note, the twins cars came out nice! the polished look is pretty darn cool. I must commend you on the way you did the fuel lines as well. The pressure regulator is in a spot I'm not used to seeing it in and I really like that location. The _other_ place I've seen it is on the airbox (passenger side) with a gauge but where you put it is both accessible and clean.

JD

The cars had been pre-warmed by yours truly and ready to go. A quick once over his car and Sean said, "So, you ready to take these fuckers out or what?"

We only went a short 10 or so miles terrorizing the back roards near my home and leaving black lines of a tell tale sign of where we had came from Surprisingly the invos I have are what I was told, a great tire. They held the power well until the upper echelon of the RPM spectrum was reached. At that point the only thing that happened was the appearence of massive black rubber being laid to the asphalt as the boost ramped in something fearful. It was in a word, NASTY.

No video yet boys but soon I promise. I have big plans for this car.

THE NUMBERS.Kevin and his shop blew me away with everything they did. They probably care almost TOO much about the customer if that is possible. We spoke daily about the progress usually once or twice a day. These guys called me on Sundays making dyno pulls to shoot the shit. His work ethic is second to none really. Ok, enough...

As you can tell from the graph the car made corrected numbers of 915 rwhp. with a torque (although not present) assumed to have been in the 900 even range. KC was having issues getting a good tach signal to stay constant so rather waste time I told them to fuck it. I can always get the car redyno'd at a later time. I was suffering some serious viper withdraw. The timing and methanol are set VERY CONSERVATIVELY. The car had other pulls made with some more aggressive timing but I wanted it backed down to where I knew I wouldn't be inviting any issues. By doing so I may have sacrificed 30 or so RWHP but 915 is nothing to sneeze at I had originally sent the car to Kevin planning to do just the AEM, Paxton, meth and that was it. Somewhere down the road, my asshole friend Sean had decided to go with heads, and when Kevin told me that I matched the bet as well, doing heads and T7D rockers. Snors car made about 5-10 rwhp more than me using his 3.55 gears which Kevin put back to stock after the pull. Time prevented Seans from redyno'g using the 3.07's due to Gary Almond showing up and under a tight deadline for other pickups out west. Snors car has headers and mine is still running the factory CAST manifolds which really did decent considering the minimal spread in rwhp between the two rides. Sean also chose a JM stage 3 cnc head when Kevin got me a superb deal on a set of fox lake heads which had some additional head porting done on. They worked great too.

I wanted to again thank Kevin, and his guys for the amazing vehicle they put together for me and I can't say much more than that. Underground Customer for life.
