American Racing Headers

Hello everyone. My name is Nick Filippides and I represent American Racing Headers. We're located on Long Island N.Y. and have something we believe will make quite an impression.
A.R. Headers is a high end header manufacturer only 2-1/2 years in the making but we've accomplished quite a bit in a very short time.

If you follow the Corvette world at all or maybe have friends that do, you'll know we've raised the bar a few levels with the release of our Vette systems over 2 years ago. ARH may arguably be the hottest headers to own for Vettes as well as other GM and Ford vehicles.

About 6 month's ago we developed our GEN 2 Viper system but decided we'd lay low till we had an opportunity to complete both the GEN 3 and Dodge Ram SRT10 systems. Now with the completion of the GEN 3 we come to you with systems that we believe are quite unique and more affordable while making no comprimises in quality, fit and performance. I welcome everyone to check out americanracingheaders.com and get a glimpse of our Viper systems. I'm open to any questions you have including those regarding pricing. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to join viperalley. We look forward to participating as forum sponsors.

Nick

Welocme Nick. Your company's reputaton precedes you. I've heard many good things about the quality of your work. You're doing a set of headers for one of my LSx customers right now, Joe and Amber Honeycutt of Six Speeds Inc. They were here earlier today and were teling me of the high quality of the flanges you sent him to look at.

I'm looking forward to seeing what your headers will do on their car.

Froma general standpoint can you speak to the pro's/con's of the 1 3/4 headers vs. the 1 5/8-1 3/4 stepped version?

Also, sent a PM with a couple additional questions.

Thanks.

Banton, The reason for the step header is to increase low and midrange torque on normally aspirated applications. Looking at all the variables (bore, valve size and rpm in particular) it just makes sense. Supercharged applications could care less about step headers so we prefer straight 1-3/4" headers.

Welcome Nick, if you have a quality product at a fair price, you will do well in the Viper community.

Nick, I think a 1&7/8" primary tube header for a Gen 2 would sell. I have *heard* that you're prototyping one for a Gen 3. Do it for a Gen 2 also.

I went to your site - Nice!

Are there any prices listed there as I didn't find them?

Maybe post in the Gen3 section, as well as checking out the Viper Truck Club Site - Viper Truck Club of America . Thanks.

Hamrhead, Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into it. With regards to pricing, our Viper systems with cats are selling for $2295.00. There's tremendous amount of work involved to manufacture these systems as they are all hand fabricated. Add to that the price of high quality U.S T304 S/S and things get costly quick. One thing I will tell everyone, our systems are very easy to install. The 2 piece design makes the install a cake walk.

Here at A&C Performance in Murrieta CA. Nick's headers are our first choice. We have installed several sets and the fit and finish of these headers are 1st class, and better than anything else out there, period!

THese headers have REAL merge collectors, The service from Nick at American racing headers is unmatched, BAR NONE. These cats outperform any in the industry and will give your viper a much deeper sound.

Nick's headers are the only ones we promote unless a customer requests other.

AMERICAN RACING HEADERS will be the header of choice to all that try them. We will soon have some back to back testing with these headers against the rest as far as horsepower and torque numbers.

We also can offer some great pricing on these systems with install.

p.s. these headers are available for all srt trucks, gen1/2's and gen3's within a week or so.

They need to be tested against the headers Dodge chose (after extensive testing at Chrysler).....then with them being SS, what are under hood temps running? It's more than just fit, it's also obviously performance, AND long term strength. There was only one header that was tested that didn't have a single manufacturing failure, and produced the most hp & torque, under the scrutiny of Dodge, for the 08's, and those were Belangers, their after market headers of choice. Let's get some side by side numbers and see who has the greatest hp and torque gains.

Arizona SRT10, You are right. I'm sure our headers will be compared to others on both the dyno and race tracks. It's par for the cause and we welcome that. To answer your concerns about underhood temp issues, there aren't any. T304holds heat in extreme well. It's the reason why we use it. With countless C5, C6 and ZO6 systems sold to date, underhood temps or durability haven't ever been a problem. Others coat their systems because they have to. Mild steel deteriorates quickly. Mild steel is also more than half the cost of stainless.
