The way it sound to me is UGR dictated to Proline that the only Viper engines that can be built in Proline's shop is the ones UGR delivers to them. No other outside work. If this is the case, UGR is dictating to Proline who they can accept as customers. That said, if true, is complete BS.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I live 100 miles from UG. I've gone down there probably half a dozen times in the past 6 months. I don't think I've been there when there were less than 20 cars at his shop. I don't think he's worried to much about any other tuner out there. Judging by the defense his past customers are giving him, he doesn't need to.

I don't want to stick my nose in here other than to say I wouldn't be angry at Proline....if a huge customer requests that they not work on one guy's 3k dollar project, I can't blame them.

Bigred, please read my explanation and not Joe's. My markup on short blocks is 20%. I also provide a two year warranty. Joe's representation is false and well wide of the truth as usual.

Thanks for adding some drama to the boards, it has been boring around here lately with all the newbs, although the Christian/Muslim/Jew thread has been both informational and interesting. Kevin has an exclusive deal with that company, exercised his option, and you didn't get your shit done.
I seriously doubt that he is worried about competition, he sounds like he has been around awhile, be it Mustangs or Vipers, and has been successful. Haven't heard any negative comments about him from his customers or of any lawsuits.
As far as his pricing, that's business, his customers are willing to pay his price, otherwise they take their business elsewhere.
As Kevin posted, he has an exclusive contract, he doesn't like you and told them to get your motor out, as is his right per the contract.
