The only reason I say that is because the sidewall seems to be a good bit more compliant than the A6. It may have some more sidewall deflection that may be a desireable attribute in this case. Besides Scotty White seem to do pretty good with the K tires.
???? I find the 710's can be run without air and won't deflect. That is a bit overstated, but, the 710 sidewall doesn't deflect much, the hoosiers on the other hand have a rubber band for a sidewall. You are right though none of these track tires do well off under straight line acceleration. The new PS2's are as good or better than my Kumho 710's out of the hole.

Not a bad time for someone without traction.. It would be interesting to see what the car can run with tires that put the power down.. TTs were about 7grand installed.. They're remounts, but its a Z06, not a Viper which is why Im only running 7lbs... Once the motor gets forged it should be good for 14lbs and about 7 at the wheels..

I came on here to get a different opinion about tires.. Most guys on the Z boards run drag radials which Ive did when the car was stock but I couldn't stand their characteristics at higher speeds.. I drove a viper 2 years ago in Vegas and it seemed like out of the box you guys have a lot more traction issues then the corvette guys so I figured I could get a pretty good response and I did.. I will definitely post up some feedback on the tires once I get my car back..

thanks again for the help..
