I completely understand that there are drag trucks out there that can run sub12's but they simply arnt on the road. And that is the only place my viper will be besides a real race track(with turns)

We are all speed freaks here and we all had a lot of fast cars, but these cars drive different and we have all seen folks crash these cars quickly. Oh yes, so you know we are all type A folks and we think we know it all, so when a bunch of us post to mod slowly, it is for a reason my friend. Now that the prices of virtually everything are going up and up and now that thousands of people are losing their jobs everyday as the US goverment still hands out 10,000+ checks to those people just getting off the boat, I think I will take a boat ride and get in line, I sure could use the money to pay for the gas in my Viper and GTO!

Apparently you are too ignorant to get the point here. I have not raced my Viper against any of my friends high powered diesel trucks yet so therefore I have not lost. I would not be afraid to admit it however since I am not ignorant to the fact of how fast some of these trucks really are. Try doing some research before you start posting false information like this. There are hundreds of diesel trucks out there that are in the 10 to 11 second range and are daily drivers. However, the diesels that are running in the 8's are the ones that aren't on the street.
no dude, UR missing the point. Trucks are for Truck things like hauling stuff which is why i posted that pic which is a Real truck sport. Sports cars are for sportcar things...
