Hopeful new Viper owner with some basic questions.

Hi and thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide. Since it came out I have always dreamed of owning a viper but never thought I would have the finances to do so and here as of recently have been working towards that goal, with a great job and some new found hope I think I may be able to buy one this spring/summer. Ok here is my questions(looking at used ones mind you):

1. I understand that in this day and age with all the technological advances that mileage although still an issue is less relevant than before, How are the motors for overall longevity and strength, how many miles are too many miles?
2. I prefer a GTS coupe but am willing to go for a good RT/10, anything I need to be aware of when looking at either? Any years to stay away from?
3. I live in Montana/Wyoming and obviously looking for one, any suggestions on a dealer with a good reputation/selection where I might start looking, I have been watching ebay for the "right one" but havent came across it yet.

2. depends on if ya wanna mod. if so, stik with 1999 and back (forged internals)

I believe ABS was an option in 2000 as well.

That's why the 2000's are the odd man out year.
No forged internals, no ABS.
