HELP with clutch pedal...

So i was driving and i go to pass this car.. im WOT in 1st then 2nd then 3rd...... SNAP!!! i hear a loud noise/snap im like wtf i go to press my clutch into neutral i cant..... my clutch pedal keeps going up and up and up... i drive it in 3rd home.. when i get home i inspect...

the rod from the floorboard to clutch pedal is disconnected so i connect it back..

my clutch pedal wont move at all its stif as a brick... and theres nothing blocking it anywhere... its all the way up like almost touching the bottom of the dash, my gas and break pedal are all the way down to normal and the clutch pedal is like a foot and a half away and stiff as a brick it wont move at all... could it be a slave cylender or something? but it should be to the floor or normal position.. why would it go that far up and stay there? any1 run into this?

I suspect the master broke a c-clip or something inside it allowing the rod to come out of the master farther than it should.
