510 Stroker

whats the estimated cost and output for a 510 stroker?

would this be a good base for a SC setup

MOJO, from what John posted earlier - left me with the impression that
the 510 and 514ci were just over-bored - stock stroke motors??
I'm without my Viper reference manuals right now, but isn't 4" the stock stroke? I know I had seen so much thrown around about the 510 and 514 being
a stroked motor, and for some reason I never put any thought into it, now
I have to re-evaluate my thinking.
If it's just a .030 over-bore - then only thing extra would be new pistons/rings plus the machine shop cost of the boring.

The 488ci Viper engine has a 4 inch bore and a 3.875 inch stroke. Same bore as the 360, nearly the same as the 340 (4.04").

Thanks Dean, you would think I could pull something that basic out of the
air, and my manuals are all somewhere else. It's like being handicapped
when you can't find a calculator, and you look for it rather than pull out
a pencil and paper - , so I was looking for a manual
rather than using common sense.

The 510 stroker uses the the stock crank - just offset ground. The 542 uses a new crank.

A good heads, cam, rocker arm 510 stroker should put down between 620 - 670 rwhp.
