2000 ACR shock setup on my GTS??

Anyone here install '00 ACR shock setup on their GTS? Any pros / cons on the 2000 ACR shock vs. 1999? I hear that they rattle and are very stiff for everyday driving? Any feedback? Would they be better than just pro kit spings??

the later shocks are Dynamics with 1100#/in rear springs. they have a bad habit of developing leaks with low usage and the springs are too stiff for the damping installed.

The rattle is from shock bolts that are too small for the mounting holes in the frame. If you don't torque them with weight on the suspension, they will rattle.

Thanks for the feedback. I've heard similar issues from others...

they're not bad units, they simply require more maintenance

Well, it's hard to get that shock bolt size vs shock mounting holes in the frame size thing all worked out..

They probably had one engineer doing the shock bushings, and another one working on the shock mounts - at opposite ends of the Tech Center...

What is a good price to pay for a used 2000 set in good condition? It is better than just having a pro-kit spring setup?
