My 1000hp Viper on Ebay, we'll see if an SRT Coupe is in my future!
Great opportunity for someone to pick up a great deal on a highly modified/low mileage blue/white GTS. I'm open to a trade for a 2006 SRT coupe. I've seen several from 3k -15k miles go for under $60k (2008 coupe will produce a few more 2006's at great prices).
If someone is in the market for a great blue/white that is still under warranty, here's your chance! I'd love for it to go to a forum member. I've got plenty of references and people on this board who know this car. Nothing to hide, no current issues. Just had the A/C and window regulator repaired under warranty, those were the only two things that were bothersome (window would get stuck in cold weather, and AC wouldn't blow as cold as new... now it does).
Thanks! I may have priced it too low, since I've had 3 cash offers call in at $55k (my starting bid). However, I'm going to let the auction run till the end. There's a chance that I'm going to sell it to one of my local buddies who has been thinking about switching to Vipers. He's got first dibs at the $55k price. Gotta get an SRT coupe before the "Wanted" movie comes out. I remember how Supras jumped in price after the Fast and Furious came out
Awesome car, i don't see you having any problems selling it, just one question bro, how do you keep that much power on the floor?, mine has 800 and i have to baby it on the first 3 gears, it's a nightmare.
I think that's a smoking price for that car. You should have NO problem selling it for more than $55k if you were patient.
And FYI...my GTS is at Underground right now getting a Paxton, Stryker heads, AEM, meth, etc. installed...so I'm curious to see what the supercharged Gen II's are bringing in when selling.

What kind of tires do you use? I have Kumho V700's on there. They don't last more than 5k miles (if you drive the car like it's meant to be driven), but that's the only way I've found to put the power down. I can smash the pedal to the floor in 3rd gear on the highway, and I'm hooked up. I tried it the other day in 45 degree weather, and it was fine. I waited until the tires had some heat into them first, of course. The car is lowered as well, but I don't know if that helps traction/downforce significantly.

Any particular reason why you are adding meth with the Paxton? Are you using an intercooler as well? I'm curious to see what the extra power gain would be... I thought of adding it myself, but was told I didn't need it with my intercooler.
It has the intercooler as well.
The water in the mixture actually cools the the intake charge by absorbing heat. The methanol acts as an octane booster.

Not sure...but Kevin at UGR claims he can get numbers similar to race gas using meth. I would guess at that level it's worth 75-100rwhp.
FYI...turbo Buick guys have been running alky (same concept) for years, and those (LC2) cars are intercooled also.

Sean, unless you changed your mind??? the heads you were getting are not the strikers they were the JM cnc stage 3 ones. Both made by JM but a SLIGHT difference in price/performance.
The meth/H20 doesn't add power, per se, but allows you to run higher boost or more aggressive timing using pump gas, as the primary fuel source (as an example) vs. having to use race gas or pump/race gas mixture. As Snorman indicated, it provides cooling effects to help protect against detonation and increases octane levels much more economically than having to use expensive race gas all the time....an no leaded gas means your wideband senors last longer too!

Paypal is only for the deposit if you use buy it now at $59.9k ($500 deposit). Look at the bottom of the page, the rest has to be paid via loan check or cash. Ebay fee is only $40, paypal is 3% ($15). So, not that big a deal there. The car will sell for whatever the ending bid price is. If you want to buy the car for $59,845 cash, that's fine with me
I already have a few offers at $55k to end the auction, but I'm going to let the auction run through. Who knows, they may bid and they may not. One thing is for sure, though. If no one bids at least $55k, I'm going to keep the car
