'94 & '95 head gaskets not the same?

I was talking to a local shop today, and they said they've been told the '95 head gaskets are different than the '92 - '94 head gaskets.

For some reason, I thought the change wouldn't have been until 1996...

they are giving you a line of bullshit. All Gen1 gaskets are the same. Make sure to get the upgraded metal gaskets not the paper crap

they dont make gaskets for gen 1's He was probably comparing a 96 to a 95 not 95 to 94

True. Rumors went around that they switched to new gaskets in 95 but I have a Last 300 Side Exhaust and the old gaskets are in the garage if you want a pic. I wonder when they actually changed. Was it with the first 96 built?
