I left my car uncovered last night because it was a beautiful night and I was driving until 1030pm and planned on getting up today and driving it all day. Until I found that some crackhead threw their drinking glass at my car and damaged my right door and cracked my mirror. I questioned all my neighborhood and I have a few leads. The neighbor had a party (notorious drug/alc guy) and some guys were acting crazy. One of my other neighbors is going to go over there and get some names today. I filed a police report because I just dont know how much this is going to cost. The door is scracthed REALLY DEEP and the mirror needs to be replaced. Dealer says $257 for just the mirror. I know Ill hear the "I told ya so" for parking it outside but I drive it WAY too much, I dont feel like transporting it across town over to the garage. Ive put 6k miles on it since I bought it a month and a few days ago...
I am really sorry to hear of this. Makes my stomach turn at both the car damage and the lack of decency today. I cannot be sure, but, I see both clear and green glass. The clear could be from the mirror- or from a second glass/bottle. Best of luck.
yep, the glass was clear/green in color or they threw two bottles at it. What is really sick is we think the same guys went to our apartment basement and took a shit in the washer and broke the light downstairs... kinda funny because I dont do laundry that much but that is just fucked up.
whats really funny is now that i know there are drugs over there for sure, next party.. Im calling the fucking cops and busting them all. I dont give a fuck if I rat out my neighbor, we live in a GREAT area with no crime and they are the problem around here....
Damn that sucks. I've enjoyed the past pictures and watching the progression on your purchase and driving/racing of this car. So it seems kind of personal to me too that they did this to your car.

It looks like something else may have been involved as well since the damage on the door is so large. I can't see how a bottle could do that. You may be able to buff it out.
Green glass left inside the mirror. I would kill everyone within a mile radius of the car. Time to get that thing indoors. People are jealous assholes. These cars seem to scream to some bringing admirers to gawk at, and yet scream to others "what the fuck you lookin at?"
Crap Dubs!!!! Im sorry to hear about the damage. That sucks!! I think what sucks more then anything, is you can't have anything nice anymore. Josh is right, there are alot of jealous mofo's out there and the way they look at it, aww lets f with the rich bastard, they have enough to fix it anyways. Next party they have you need to report what you believe is gunfire. OMG they are shooting the neighborhood up. I am sure that will bring the boys in blue to investigate. Maybe they can even find a grandmother while they are there and Taser her just for the fuck of it. Why, cause they can.
my neighbor just got back from talking to the crackheads and she said it was calm until the cops got called and they got a $1000 fine for being loud. Then they got all pissed off and all left. I have a feeling that is when it happened. Im looking into a survelance (sp) camera or a storage unit closer to me. I just drive the thing too much to shuttle it back and forth and I just moved out here so Im in a fucking apartment instead of in a house. As soon as my lease goes up, Ill be in a house but until then I have to do SOMETHING I guess

unfortunately no. Our area is SOOO good out here. There is literally zero violence and its really quiet. There is a police and fire station I can see from my porch, literally 100 yards away too. Just some jealous fucker who happed to walk by and see the car after he had some drugs/alc in his system and it happened to be the night I didnt put the cal cover on it... go figure

Not sure what's worse, the fact that they shit in your washer or the fact that you just admitted to it not bothering you so much because you don't wash your clothes that often. You smell.
Only thing the surveillance is going to do is piss you off more watching it occur next time. unless you catch a plate number of a car they are in it isn't going to catch them. Time to arm yourself and sit on the balcony during the next party.
