this one is pretty nice, 2 bed, 1 bath, 1k sq ft, 2 car garage, located on west end of campus, right up against the mountains, big back yard, park right across the street, nice view.... $168k is the cheepest thing I found as well.... thinking about it but like I said, Im married to this lease until May

The bad thing about having nice things and working hard for them, is the feeling you get when something goes wrong. I would never even consider parking my car at an apartment complex, not even for a 1 hour visit. You have high levels of underachievers, stumbling neo beatniks, low functioning dipshits and other assorted, low grade, misfit rodents walking around. We can never assume that we will not have bad luck but you have to work the odds in your favor. What happened was horrible and it is enough to piss me off. However, you need to value your car more than to park it at a peasant lot like you did.
The gunshot idea is a great one. There's no way to prove that you were lying and those filthy ecstacy dorks will get a good scare when the cops show up. Either that, or buy yourself some rattlesnakes and dump a bag of them through one of their windows at their next party.

May will be here before you know it. It will take a few months to get to settlement etc... And not to mention only paying 350 a month if you have to pay a few months while you are not living there it is still cheaper than fixing your Viper.
Where do you live? That house would be atleast 250 in my neighborhood.
