I happened to stop by the local Dodge dealer tonight to look for a new daily driver and in the showroom was a 1999 Black GTS ACR with silver stripes. I asked the salesman about it and he told me that it is an unsold 1999 ACR that the owner of the dealership kept at his home.
The car has 3,000 miles on it, but it has never been titled, so it has the full factory 3/36 warranty because it is considered to be a new car.
Good luck on the warranty still being valid. Titled or not, the dealer can tell you one thing but I rather have something in writing from DC before banking on them giving full warranty on a vehicle 8-9 years old. MSO or not. And any day of the week that car is bringing easy mid 50's. Possibly touching 60k for the right buyer. It is a rare combo ACR w/3k miles. Enough said.

In my opinion, the fact that it was untitled is meaningless. At 3000 miles it is a used, low mileage Viper, worth the same as any other 1999 ACR with 3k miles on it. It is certainly a good find for the right person, who loves the GTS, based on the fact that it has low miles for a USED car. If they are expecting to get more money for it because it has not yet been titled, that is silly. What makes a dealer's 3000 miles better than a single owner's 3000 miles? Hell, a dealer could have allowed every consumer, employee and everybody else take it for a joy ride, for all we know. Unless the warrantee is indeed intact, I don't see the dealer owned factor as a positive.
