This may for a first for the Alley...at least I don't remember every seeing a post on this. Here's the deal. My lowered GEN II has KW's. Is about 3/4 to 1 in lower than stock. I just spent a shitload of money on a new driveway. Drove the car over today and it won't fit. Waaay to low. Tried front first, rear first...straight on...angled..etc. The driveway grade is totally normal...problem is the street crown is waaay too steep. I know the township is gonna tell me to go pound salt. In the interim....until I have time to piss with this....can anyone reccommend a ramp system that someone sells? I'm thinking that something has to be out there? Right now my only hope is to line the driveway with 2x4's like some kind of hill billy. Please help guys. Thanks.
Not joking here, but have you thought of creating some 2x10x2 shims? The advantage is that you'll have exact depth. Rent a table saw or if you have one try that.

Moving and wheelies are out of the question. The township is a bunch of dicks....i can't extend drive into street. against code. another reason is...first snow this year...some doushebag in a plow truck will set the blade down and rip the whole damn thing out with the plow. i'm really fucked here and not sure how to fix it. BTW svt....I'm waaay beyond scraping here....we're talking the fucking fascia is literally bent and stuck into the driveway!!! I practically ripped the front end off....it flexed under so much...my clear bra is hanging off and the paint is spiderweb'd.
I will snap some shots of the scenerio tomorrow. i'm thinking i need to fucking hire an engineer. There is basically a 1' difference between the street and driveway...and the biggest problem is the crown of the street. obviously also the hardest thing to fix too. BTW, on the way out of the drive....the car basically came to a stop when creaping out.....and I didn't hit the brakes....and the drive slopes down. Basically my fascia stopped the car by digging into the drive!!!! Awesome. I got so mad.....new neighbors must think i'm a pyscho
Get some sturdy slip resistant diamond plate and have 2 small ramps about +-24 inches in length and about +-12 inches wide made and bolt them to the ground . Remove them in the winter.
The golf course I live on does this very thing when the golf cart goes across the street.
This also allows water to flow under the ramps so no water is stopped when it rains hard.
The plates turn a dull gray too so they blend in and don't look out of place.
Have you tried your neighbors driveway and then just cutting across the lawn
actually dude....already thought about that. that would be an easy fix except the guy next door is a "rental"....and the owner is a real dick. guy is out of town and never around....it's a shame because we could easily put a small strip of blacktop between the two driveways and it would be perfect. can't do it without his permission...and that has proven impossible. i am going to take pics today...stand by
