Lowered the Viper, before and after pics
I got tired of it looking a little like a 4wd so I lowered my 97 GTS.
I went the route of cutting one coil off a stock set of springs (bought a spare set off ebay).
I went that route because I was concerned with weight transfer for the drag strip (which I'm more into).
It lowered the car 3/4's of an inch, I'm pretty happy with the results.
The ride is a little harsher, but not that bad and the handling feels better.

It definitely has to be realigned afterwards.

Looks great. All Vipers need to be lowered - imo of course.

I lowered my car 1" using Sean Roe's setup and never had the wheels realigned. I've had no problems or abnormal tire wear after about 12,000 miles. Actually, any abnormal tire wear comes from the 843 rwhp!

Every viper needs lowered. That 4 x 4 look is VERY annoying.. I just cut my springs on both vipers I've had and it's never caused a problem.

Rich, she looks great. Can't wait to ride in that bad boy next month. I hope you have the bottle armed.
