That reverse-scoop roof is the biggest waste of money I've seen on a Viper to date. He said he did it to relieve cabin pressure buildup. Er, let's just say there is a great reason you've never seen it on other sports cars and race cars.

ahh constructive criticism from the masses of lasses, i appreciate that. first of all to the quote of never seeing a reverse scoop before, you must not watch much racing then. second, you ever been going fast and feel, see, and hear that pressure build up? no, well do it and youll know what i mean (not that this is a big issue in my opinion). as for looks, any roof on an rt looks odd so why not capitalize on this abnormality and go for broke. usually the pro compliments ive been getting on it are from non viper owners and i would assume thats cause they have no prefabricated conceptions or ideas as to what it "should" look like.
it was a tough decision between the front facing or the rear facing
the hardest part was all the damn work and repairs that had to be done after receiving it from vipermania

Well spoken. Fact of the matter is....we all have vipers and yours is unique. I actually like it so there's my 2 cents worth, but remember....I don't see any others running around with that design which means in photos yours is one of discussion. Thumbs up.
I do watch a lot of racing -- in fact, it's nearly the only thing I do watch -- and I reiterate, I have never seen a "reverse scoop". Everyone else I know who is into racing that I've shown this picture has concurred.
I do understand that the GTS has a documented air pressure buildup above about 170 MPH -- although in spite of several people saying their windows have popped out at the top, others say their windows just weren't rolled up tightly. Regardless, the GTS has built-in ventilation to avoid pressure buildup. I haven't heard of this happening with an RT/10 (which is quite a bit less-well-sealed), and I further questioned on the morgue whether you had experienced this.
Nothing wrong with doing something for the sake of being different. Nothing wrong with you (or others) liking the look -- or me (and others) disliking it. However, I continue to object to any claim that it somehow alleviates a real problem.
Not that my opinion counts, but I favor the rear mount vs the front mount.
The rear mount scoop allows a functional vent to be installed - without fear
of rain. The best way to circulate air inside the car is to pull it out.
The front mount scoop is a little too rice for me, but I like MOJO's top.
Do they make scoops from the side? LOL. According to Bernouli's principle, as long as air is passing across the hole at high speeds it will "wick" the air/water inside the hole out. i.e. the air pressure will be greater in the scooop and force air out. Interesting.
I think Mojo was kidding about the "see you in person" part - I've seen pics of him and he's not exactly what you would call "intimidating" (unless short and scrawny are intimidating).
