There was an open TestNTune last night, so I took the opportunity to get more seat time. A lot of fast Bugs were in attendance as they have a big event today (Bugorama Promotions of Sacramento).
I only made a total of 3 runs, but good enough to make a couple of decent passes. Since my BFG drag radials were done, I thought I'd try out the "used" set of ET Streets / skinnies I bought last month. Considering this was my first time with the stickier tires, I did a lot better than my first outing a week ago.
very nice! Is your rear end stock or do you have upgraded halfshafts or diff? Just curious... great runs and I cant wait to see what it does on the 16psi setting!
again, props for driving your OWN car and putting down real world numbers!
Thanks.
Looking good Alternative. I'm sure you called that airport number and got the density altitude
To do some comparison I had to go dig out my time slips. My best ever with the Roe s/c at 10psi, stock motor, rockers, w/m, headers and exhaust, no nitrous and driving the s#%t out of the car was:
This was at 800' elevation on a warm day....my guess about 1800-2000 corrected.
Take my 60' and apply it to Alternatives and it comes out to:
1/8 6.64
1/4 10.25
I'm sorry but all I know and can compare to is the Roe setup....it's just what I do. I'm not sure how my 10.16@141 stack up against any other no heads/cam Roe car but I would venture it's pretty darn good for that setup.
To me, after looking at my slip, this run is looking better

==> I guess being hole shotted by a bad-add Beetle brings out the best in a man!
Just wondering... what kind of beetle is a bad add one ??
The faster ones perhaps?
Time and speeds are getting better every time out. A 9 sec time is in there somewhere between boost, traction and track conditions. The CPE train is gaining some well needed track steam.
Good job Alen.. I shall see soon about the tank.
