Bump? Or an EDIT 24 minutes later, to remove something that belonged on your thread?

Paolo, congrats. You have the patience of Job, and have shown a lot of class by staying silent. Sorry to see your thread shit on so badly by people without manners.

What's going on on the board is so ironic. For so long the only thing keeping most Viper owners that wanted the most efficient power maker from buying TT's was the price. Now that you've made it affordable to more Viper owners Kevin goes "retro" on everybody.

There are all different kinds. I'd pick your turbos over any Paxton any time. But you can put a Corvette and a Viper side by side on a car lot for the same price, and someone will come along and want the Corvette.

well - I hate to put my 2 cents into a personal crapfest - but I have to agree that Paolo is known for his passion about what he does, and people love it or hate it, but he is finally getting some respect - well deserved for his persistent efforts...

it certainly is a cheap shot for others to try and derail his own thread into side issues.... it is especially pathetic when done by someone who does not need to worry over whether Paolo is going to steal all his customers.

Lighten the fuck up people - if Paolo's TT system sucks - come drag your brainy ass in here and point out how his TT setup is so much worse than everyone elses....

i doubt there is anyone here dumb enough to do that because they'll be owned

All this crap comes down to ego... I wonder if it is pissing some people off that someone without having done all the trade cert training has self-taught and is beginning to actually make a business by focusing on doing their absolute best for long enough they're actually making a product so good and at a rate so attractive - it's embrarrassing.

and Paolo - like Greg said - staying out of the shit is the best thing you can do - nothing will stick man - let them take a dump, time and persistence has a habit of settling all scores. BTW - don't be the cheapest - be the best and make some money...

Check this thread again. Nobody is crapping on Paolo's kit including any UR nutswingers. I answered Joe Dells accusation of fraud regarding our dyno numbers on this thread which I will continue to do wherever he tries to run that. Now go look at my supercharger thread and see all the bashing by Paolo's nutswingers of the supercharger system. Let's be fair about this Barry and I know you are. "I wish I was still a PFR" has been crapping all over my thread as well as others. I guess my nutswingers could come onto this thread and fuck it up and I could claim I was above the fray too but that's not how I operate.

There have been a lot of questions about exactly what comes with my DIY T-04 Side mounted Twin Turbo System.

Here is a dyno Graph for what the system can make on a bone stock forged motor:

Here is the breakdown for exactly what you get:

1. Turbo system
2. Fuel system and engine management

Here is what is included with the turbo system for $9999.99

- .96 AR T-04 66mm Turbos With GTQ turbine wheels(800 HP each)
- CPE High flow Turbo Exhaust Manifolds and Up Pipes
- 3" Stainless Steel downpipes With V-band Connections
- (2) Tial 44mm Turbo Wastegates
- Tial 50mm Blow Off Valve
- Mandrel Bent High Flow Intercooler Plumbing
- High Flow Custom CPE Front Mount Air-Air Intercooler
- All Necessary T-bolt piping Clamps
- High Pressure Silicone Intercooler Plumbing Connectors
- Turbo Oil Feed Lines and Fittings
- Turbo Oil Drain Lines and Fittings
- High Temperature Silicone Wastegate Control Lines
- All Necessary Vacuum Tees and Hoses
- High Flow Turbo Inlet Plumbing
- Dual High Flow S&B Air Filters
- Heavy duty engine mounts
- Lifetime warranty on all piping

Fuel system upgrade:

- Polished fuel rails, with stainless steel mounting hardware and throttle cable bracket, O-ring AN fittings:

-55#/hr fuel injectors

-Boost-a-Pump, Tested to 800RWHP so far.

Engine management:

- Vec 3

Fuel system upgrade for *EDIT* 800 *EDIT* RWHP and engine management = $2,500.00

Installation and tuning =$2,500.00

Total = $14,999.99

Instead of boost-a-pump, I could substitute a walbro 255 with lines and fittings and a fuel pressure regulator for another $200.00 making the fuel system upgrade $2,700.00 vs $2,500.00 for the boost-a-pump setup.

The additional labor to install extra walbro in the tank would add $300.00 to the installation cost.

So 900 RWHP would be $15,499.00 installed and tuned. My mistake. I will definitely do it for that price.

Additional upgrades:

Here is what the Twin Side Mounted Intercoolers for 1K looks like:

Benefits:

1. No blockage of air to radiator, oil cooler or AC condensor associated with front mount intercoolers.

2. No preheating of air going through AC condensor, Oil Cooler or Radiator.

3. It is possible to fit much more intercooler core/volume/heat sink capability behind the foglights.

Intercooler piping that comes out behind the radiator for $350.00 looks like this:

Cool Air Intake: My system pulls air from outside the hot engine compartment!

Here is a picture of the monster air filters positioned in the front of the car outside of the engine compartment pulling nothing but cool, dense air to the turbos to force feed your snake with only the best!

Here is also a picture of where the air filters will be placed for the front mount intercooler setup:

==> Unlike the Paxton supercharger setup, this system pulls cool air through monster sized air filters!

I can do the entire system installed and tuned with VEC 3 and a BAP for $14,999.99 in about 1.5 weeks turnaround time.

Benefits of Turbocharging vs Supercharging:

1. It takes 100-150 RWHP(depending on boost level) to spin the Paxton supercharger.

What does this mean to the end user?

a. With Supercharger, lower peak RWHP on stock fuel pump/Boost-a-Pump combination.
b. More stress crank snout and reciprocating assembly at a given RWHP compared to a turbo car.

So whatever the supercharger is putting to the wheels, add another 100-150 the engine has to make to spin the supercharger.

More power output = shorter engine life period.

2. Adjustability of boost from the cockpit.

To change boost levels with a supercharger, you physically need to change to a smaller or larger pulley to spin the supercharger faster or slower to make more or less boost.

With an adjustable boost controller, the end user can adjust the boost level while driving or electronically with the engine management or the boost controller alone if advanced enough.

Adjustability of boost revisited:

==> With turbos, not only can the boost be adjusted from inside the cockpit, but also by Gear, RPM, Time/etc...

What does this mean for driveability for cars making a lot of power ie 900+RWHP?

Being able to ramp in the boost with turbos will be more user friendly, safer and easier to control.

Example:

1st gear = 7 PSI
2nd gear = 8-9 PSI
3rd gear = 10-12 PSI
4th gear = 15-17+ PSI

Being able to control the boost in a manner such as this makes driving a TT a breeze!

Disclaimer: You must have the stones to put your foot to the floor!

3. Turbos only make boost when you are in the throttle.

Off boost, the turbos are only spinning fast enough to maximize the volumetric efficiency of the motor for increased fuel mileage.

Air-Air vs Air-Water for moderate street driving:

My air-air intercoolers have more functionality for 900 RWHP cars driving on the street than the air-water intercooler that comes with the paxton kit.

The air-water will get heat soaked more quickly and will require more time to dissipate the heat built up to make for cool air intake temps.

Top End Power Potential:

CPE Sidemount Twin Turbo: Conservatively 1200-1300 RWHP.

Paxton: 1050 RWHP. Belt Slippage will definitely come into play by this point for those who are driving the car hard.

Moral of the Story:

Why go the supercharger route when you can get turbos and all their inherent advantages for just about the same price?

==> My sidemount TT can be shipped to and installed by the end user, you have but to ask.

Jay, back on track once again........ Hopefully!

You're spinning what's going on here. I guess I could start a thread selling gas caps, have someone call you a fraud on that thread, and then tell you to grow up if you defended yourself. You're a Paolo supporter and that's fine, but let's stay with the facts here. Go to my thread with your admonitions to the crowd shitting on it.

Additionally this entire thread was created to knock my supercharger thread and most objective people have seen this from the first post.

Barry, I don't recall ANY PLACE in this great thread where ANYONE said a negative thing about Paolo's TT kit??? Should Kevin leave it alone, probably. Will he??? Probably not. Does he believe Joseph shit in "his" thread at the direct or indirect direction of Paolo?? I tend to believe he does. Do 2 wrongs make a right??? I think you get the point here... Anyway to get back on track with what I was saying earlier. Not a single person has took a crap on THIS thread to praise the benefits of the other tuner(s). Yet if you visited UGR's thread, he was insulted, called a fraud, and a liar for claiming to make numbers not possible with his advertised "deal"
This place is filled with bias and the emotions regarding each "teams" camp is running at what seems to an all time, yearly high. WHICH IS GOOD. With Bradenton around the corner, it will be fun putting all the smack on the TRACK like it has always been done on the ALLEY.
Carry on with P's thread and like I said. It is an absolute work of are and P should be proud of his work here.

Kevin,

Facts.

1. You're not a fraud, You're a high end TT builder who knows his sh*t!
2. Don't sell gas caps, they're not your thing.
3. There nothing wrong with SCs just their top end limitations.

4. This thread has nothing ... I repeat NOTHING to do with your SC business.

No games here:

This is offering a Twin Turbo solution to the Viper community for a fraction of the high end price.

5. I'll make it over to your thread, read it from start to finish and see what you're saying, but won't comment on it here on Paolo's Thread. This is about Paolo and his Twin Turbo setup.

Appreciatively,

Jay K.

After the Teaser Pics thread for Alternative's car,

http://www.viperalley.com/forum/vipe...irst-side.html

There were a lot of questions about what comes with my kit, how much are the side mount intercoolers, what size injectors, etc....

I would answer the questions as they came but there were some people who did not read every post and were confused about whatever......

So I decided to do a cohesive post laid out in a certain order that covered all the bases for prospective customers without all the hype.

Just the facts from which any logical, informed customer could compare what I have to offer to their intended application.

People have wanted an affordable turbo system for the Viper for a long time and I have built one and am selling a lot of them.
