Do You Want To Make 900 RWHP On Pump Gas For 14.9K Installed/Tuned?

I have been getting a number of inquiries about making 900 RWHP kit on pump gas stock forged motors in a budget package. Underground can provide at Paxton based kit installed and tuned that will meet this requirement for 14.9K. We not only have dyno data we have track data with a Video to back it up. Some of the things people are bringing up regarding superchargers is having to tighten belts and belts jumping off. With our custom system that is NOT an issue. We have not had one problem with a supercharger belt since we have been doing this.

Kit includes:

*Stage 1 Supercharger
Polished Paxton Supercharger Novi 2000
Complete custom fuel system with billet in-tank Hanger with 3 Walbo's (tested to hold 1500 rwhp)
Custom polished Fuels rails
Aeromotive Regulator
Custom Flow matched 65 pound injectors
ATI balancer
Upgraded Paxton components
water/meth kit
AEM ECU
Dyno Tuned and installed..................................$14,900

Performance......... 9.75 @143
Best RWHP on cool conditions 925 rwhp

This test was done on a 96 GTS. Everything was stock other then Fuel System and cat back.

Stock headers
Stock rockers
Stock everything else, I'm sure you get the point.

Thanks, Kevin

out of curiousity, would you do this install w/ a vec2/3 if wanted? and where would you expect those numbers and pricing to fall?

$2200 Credit without the AEM. + the cost of whatever a Vec3 cost.

Also turn time is 1 week!

Having had the Paxton and the TT, I'd rather spend the extra time and $$ on the TT.

But that's just me.

As for belts, I doubt your people are driving the cars hard enough... there are 2 universal truths in life: 1 - all convertible tops eventually leak, and 2 - all belts eventually slip.

On the other hand, blower cars are also fun too! And since the kit is 6250, the aem around 2500, and the fuel system upgrade a requirement, you still get out pretty cheap.

Shoot... Remember what it used to take to make 850 or 900rwhp? Dang. My how times have changed.

JD

This will work with an 01? It is the forged piston mention that I do not have...so what about those of us who do not have these pistons?

If you have a cast piston car it would be another 3,900 to upgrade to forged CP race pistons.

My only question concerns longevity of the engine...900 RWHP will put the same stresses on an engine as 1000-1050 RWHP on turbos. We all know how the stock engine did with Dyno Daddy's single turbo system making similar numbers. Granted a supercharged car would only see peak cylinder pressure at max RPM and thusly have a shorter duration of wear per RPM sweep, but it still would peak higher. I can see this being fine for the guy who doesn't drive it hard, but I don't know how well it would hold up with someone who drives hard all the time like Paolo, Bill, ect....

Kevin, any options regarding the Paxton supplied replacement for the OE crossbrace that DLM doesn't use as-is, and The Wizard thinks is underengineered?
